Super speed

A DLP Printer with a 180 watt lamp will cure a 0.05mm layer in approximately 2 seconds. A 240 watt lamp will cure a 0.05mm layer in half a second. With the Castable Blend resin you have hardening times among the fastest of all the resins on the market.

Super easy to use

The Castable Blend resin comes ready to use with pigments already optimised and mixed in.
After initial calibration, there is nothing else to worry about. Special formulation has brought down average shrinkage on these resins to approximately 0.5% (the industry average is 3.5%).

The Castable Blend resin have a very faint odour and cause minimal skin irritation as compared to other resins.

Super strong

When fully cured the Castable Blend resin has a hardness of approximately 75 shore D (what does this mean?). Castable Blend resin has also been tested and proven to withstand a myriad of different chemicals including water, acetone, alcohol and thinner. Find out more here.

Finishing Instructions

  1. To clean and remove excess resin, agitate the 3D printed part in an ulkltrasonic cleaner with TEK1969 cleaning or in a simple vat with TEK1960 solvent* for 1-2 minutes until all excess resins has been removed.

  2. Do not soak in acetone. Do not leave the 3D part soaking in the liquid. Use a soft brush if necessary.

  3. Clean off any excess of liquid with a cold blowdryer or compressed air.

  4. Leave under the sun or in a UV lamp to cure. The resin is fully cured when fingernails do not leave scratch marks on the object.

  5. Even after full post cure some parts may still have a sticky surface. You can treat your print with Ta-Tack Away. A quick wash in this special formula will add a stick-free coating on the printed part.

*We do not recommend the use of denatured or isopropyl alcohol (IPA). It is very aggressive on the polymerized resin and it could weaken the structure of the 3D part. It is also flammable and potentially harmful to people and the environment.

Store the resin in a dry, cool, shaded place out of direct sunlight.
